Max Riley Make A Difference
Max Riley Make A Difference
I have sent an E-Mail to the City of Sydney Council
Hello I am Max Riley From 6H at Cranbrook School
I live in South Paddington and there are big graffiti problems there.
Around the Sydney Football Stadium there are logos of cheats and
swear words which can be offensive and drive people away from our
town.
I was just wanting to know how you could help.

Max Riley: Make A Difference Challenge
I almost forgot to put a post on my overall goal.
Goal: My overall goal is to:
1. Raise awareness of the graffiti problems in Moore Park Road and South Paddington.
2. Encourage people to clean up the graffiti in Moore Park Road and South Paddington.
3. Encourage the people who are doing graffiti to STOP RIGHT NOW and clean up their mess.
4. Encourage businesses to use graffiti art to deter graffiti vandals.
Max Riley: Make A Difference Challenge
I have noticed a few local businesses that have painted their walls or security roller doors with graffiti art to deter graffiti vandals. They have been very successful and it stands out in our locality.

How Will I Get Informed
. I am going to talk to professionals and locals about what graffiti can do to towns and how it effects the locals and tourists/visitors.
. Read books on graffiti and what it does to towns and how it effects the locals and tourists/visitors.
. Watch youtube videos on graffiti and how it effects towns, locals and tourists/visitors.
. Watch the news and see if there is any headlines on graffiti on any towns.
. Read the news papers and the Wentworth Courier and see if there are any articles on graffiti.
. Walk down the local streets to inspect where graffiti is occurring.

Max Riley: Make A Difference Challenge
The graffiti eaters are one of Australia's Premier Graffiti Removal and Industrial Cleaning companies. On the website they say they offer fast response, quotes and test prior to starting, removing all graffiti, smoke damage, stains and spills off practically every surface.
(Pretty impressive)
Max Riley: Make A Difference Challenge
After doing a search on graffiti cleaning companies I have found a well known company named graffiti eaters. In my next few posts I should be getting into more detail about graffiti eaters.
Max Riley: Make A Difference Challenge
What: For my make a difference challenge I am trying to increase awareness of graffiti in Moore Park Road. (Especially Australia Stadium) I am also trying to encourage people to clean up the graffiti in Moore Park Road, and encourage the people who are doing graffiti to STOP RIGHT NOW and clean up your mess.
Why: Graffiti: Vandalizes properties, It can be offensive, racist. And when the people that do graffiti paint over warning signs it can be dangerous. (building site ahead etc.)
How: I will know when I have succeeded because I will notice more people taking action and there will be less graffiti around Moore Park Road.
